The short version

Privacy

This site collects as little as it can get away with. Here is the whole picture.

What I collect

If you give me your email address, I keep your email address. That's it. There is no account to create, no profile being assembled, and no form on this site that asks for anything else.

The email list

The list runs on MailerLite, which stores your address and records whether you opened an email or clicked a link in it. I use that only to tell whether an article was worth sending. Every email has an unsubscribe link, it works immediately, and unsubscribing removes your address rather than hiding it.

I don't sell, rent, or share the list. Not with anyone, for any amount.

Analytics

I use privacy-preserving analytics that count page views without cookies and without building a profile of you. I can see that a page was read. I cannot see who read it.

Links to Amazon

The books are sold on Amazon, and the buy links on this site point there. Amazon sets its own cookies and applies its own privacy policy once you land on their site. See theaffiliate disclosure for the money side of that.

Children

The workbooks are written for kids. This website is written for their parents, and it isn't directed at children. I don't knowingly collect anything from anyone under 13. If you think your child signed up for the email list, email me and I'll delete the address.

Your say

You can ask me what I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Email balancebychoice@gmail.com and I'll do it — no forms, no conditions.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, I'll say so in the newsletter rather than quietly editing the page.
