Where the money comes from
Affiliate disclosure
Short version: I wrote the books, and I earn when you buy one.
The books are mine
Every book linked from this site was written and self-published by me through Amazon KDP. When you buy one, I earn a royalty. That's the main way this site pays for itself, and it's the obvious thing to know before you read a page recommending one of my books.
Amazon links
Buy links point to Amazon. Some may carry an affiliate tag, which can pay a small commission on top of the royalty. It never changes what you pay.
What I don't do
I don't take payment to recommend anybody else's product, run sponsored posts, or accept free products in exchange for coverage. If that ever changes, it will be labelled on the page it applies to, not buried here.
Why the articles link to the books
Most articles end by mentioning the book that covers the same ground in more depth. The article is meant to stand on its own — you should be able to act on it without buying anything. If an article only makes sense as an advertisement, I've written it badly.
